The aim of the Africa Innovation-based Entrepreneurship Prize is to acknowledge and celebrate individuals, agencies, or institutions that have generated innovative ideas, solutions, or ventures with the potential to scale and create wealth while improving livelihoods. The prize seeks to recognize and promote entrepreneurship that is driven by innovation and has the capacity to make a positive impact on economic growth, job creation, and social development in Africa.

Nominees for this Prize must:

• • Be born in or be a citizen of an African country engaged in the agricultural industry.

• • have made an outstanding contribution by harnessing technology and innovation to significantly improve opportunities for growth, income generation and cost-saving measures in Africa.
